Yes, 100% free forever! No premium plans, no hidden fees, no credit card required. We're supported by ads to keep the service free for everyone.

How accurate is visual portion tracking? +

Studies show hand-portion estimates are 85-90% accurate when practiced regularly. While not exact like weighing, it's accurate enough for sustainable calorie tracking and is the method recommended by many nutritionists.

Can I use CaloriesSnap on my phone? +

Absolutely! CaloriesSnap is fully responsive and works on all devices - phones, tablets, and desktops. You can even install it as a web app on your phone for app-like experience.

Do you have a mobile app for iOS or Android? +

Not yet, but our web app works perfectly on mobile browsers! You can add it to your home screen for quick access. Native apps may come in the future based on user demand.

How do I add a food that's not in your database? +

Email us at ideas@caloriessnap.com with the food name and we'll add it! We're constantly expanding our database based on user requests. Currently we have 500+ foods and growing.

Is my data private and secure? +

Yes! Your tracking data is stored locally on your device only. We never collect, access, or share your personal tracking information. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I export my data or sync across devices? +

Currently, data is stored per-device in your browser. Cloud sync is on our roadmap! For now, use the same device/browser to maintain your tracking history.
